What is a Dermal Roller?
The Dermal Roller is a hand held titanium roller consisting of 192 tiny 1.5mm needles.
How does the Dermal Roller treatment work?
The needles cause the skin to mount an injury response and force the skin into a repair mode. This starts the rebuilding process where the skin produces new collagen and elastin to smooth fine lines and wrinkles, the skin thickens to protect itself, forms new skin around the scar tissue, strengthen capillaries and improves the blood supply to the skin.
How does the Dermal Roller procedure work?
Emla is applied to cleansed skin for 15 mins, followed by skin needling with Retinol serum, until pin-point bleeding, redness and mild swelling are reached. Typically a treatment session will last 1 hour. lastly the area is cooled with chilled water and a post treatment soothing cream and sun block are applied.
Is the Dermal Roller treatment painful?
Depends on your pain threshold, most people say that is uncomfortable but bearable. The application of Emal really helps to take the edge off.
The emla cream can last over an hour.
How does the skin look and feel immediately after the treatment?
The skin may feel hot and tingly and look as if it is slightly sunburned for the next 12-24 hours. This will subcide within a few hours and if it persits, just apply cold compress or aloe vera gel. There may be some peeling after a few days of the treatment, just apply honey as shown.

How many treatments will I need to see the results?
Although you will see immediate result in 1 treatment in the texture and appearance of their skin. For best results most people will require a course of 4 treatments, taken once a month. For those with severe skin concerns such as acne scarring, stretch marks, fine lines, up to 6 to 8 Dermal Roller treatments may be needed.
Are there any risks with the Dermal roller treatment?
None! Your treatment will only be performed by our senior, most experienced therapists.
There is only a risk if the Rollers are in the wrong hands where the skin is over worked, causing hyper pigmentation.

What is Mesotherapy?
Mesotherapy is performed by 2 methods, either Dermapen or Mesogun.
Both methods deliver active serums such as collagen, anti-ageing vitamins, hyaluronic acid into the skins deepest layers.
Mesotherapy with the mesogun injects the serums deeper than the dermapen ans is more effective on treating deeper skin concerns such as pigmentation, skin ageing.
Mesotherapy with dermapen is very effective on acne scarring, indents, improving dull lifeless skin, and treating superficial wrinkles.
How does Mesotherapy work?
Mesotherapy with the mesogun uses a fine needle to inject a cocktail of serums deeper into the dermis, hence this method is more suitable for treating deeper skin concerns such as pigmentation, and skin ageing.
Mesotherapy with dermapen is similar to Dermal Rollers but more specific as it uses 12 needles and targeted injury to the epidermis, making it very effective on acne scarring, indents, improving ageing skin. Initially a course of 4 sessions are advised every 3 weeks, with maintenance 1-2 times a year.
How many Mesotherapy treatments are needed?
Mesotherapy with the mesogun must be done every 2 weeks for a course of 5 treatments. The serums have to be layered in the skin structure consistently to plump the skin for anti-ageing.
In the treatment of pigmentation,, by injecting the serums every 2 weeks, the melanin pigment breaks up and comes to the surface.
Mesotherapy using the dermapen is recommended every 4 weeks for a course of 4 treatments 1-2 times a year, depending on the severity of the skin problem..
is there any downtime with Mesotherapy?
sometimes. For some client’s the skin is red for up to 48 hours. This is quite normal, it just looks like you have been in the sun for too long. This will subside, if concerned, just use cold compress and
